Welcome from the President
The branch association Pilates Professionals of the Netherlands is a fact and we are proud of it!
As the new president of the PPN I warmly welcome you, Pilates student/teacher/studio owner and trainer.
For me personally connecting and sharing are high on our priority list and that's why I took up the baton of the presidency of the PPN.
Originating from the need to connect and to put the profession of Pilates teacher on the map, the PPN was founded.
During the first lockdown the exploratory talks started and after a whole process of discussions, adjustments, statutes and a policy plan, the mission of the PPN is clear:
We are here for YOU as an independent association, representing the interests of the non-profit Pilates profession.
You can ask your questions here; we offer information where there is a need for it, you can view the range of courses that meet the conditions of the PPN and we are working hard on the job board.
The PPN also looks after the legal interests of its members and will use its influence by actively building bridges between the Pilates community and the latest developments in related (science-based) fields and therapies.
We offer you a platform with like-minded people from different perspectives and training, out of respect for each other and in the belief that we can learn a lot from each other and support each other to put our beautiful profession on the chart.
Because there are also many teachers (and clients) in the Netherlands who are English-speaking, we communicate in both languages, to be able to welcome everyone.
