Anatomy Alive (Amsterdam) - A Practical Approach to Anatomy for Pilates Instructors
The objective of this highly practical 2-day course with Bavo Wouters is to learn about humans' biomechanics and key anatomical structures. You will be taught to find and understand these parts of the body and relate them to Pilates exercises. Myofascial structures will be linked into functional chains, giving you a sense of their functionality during Pilates movements.

Come and join these small group-settings, where we dive deeper into detail. There will be lots of hands-on strategies, effective cueing and sharing from 30 years of experience. If you teach Pilates, Reformer, Dance or other movement, or if you are an advanced mover/dancer/ student and looking to learn more: this is for you!
Saturday 6 February: On Feet and Ankles: diving into mobility and strength, improving balance and gait. Mat with small props. (max 10 participants)
Sunday 7 February: On Feet and Ankles: working towards pointework and jumping. Equipment. (max 6 participants)

improve lumbar articulation into flexion, and adding on long levers

leg in the hip, and translation into ballet class. Mat, props and some equipment.
Sunday 30 May: Turn Out leading into Extensions: Strengthening hip flexors to get better
extensions on a strong standing leg. Equipment and some Mat.

Bumps, Babies & Boobs - Exercise Support through Motherhood
This continual education course aims to demystify working with the pregnant client, and provide clear, evidence-based approaches in which you can support her through the transition into motherhood and beyond. Katina brings an engaging approach, with a focus on active learning principles and critical thinking. Questions are encouraged!
This course is appropriate for Qualified Pilates Instructors. A sound knowledge base is required in Pilates and basic anatomy.
