Workshops:

Playful Rejuvenation with a Twist using small barrels, soft ball and roller : Jolanda Hoefnagel (Morning)

As one of Joseph's quotes was, "We are as young as our spine is flexible." it's time to rejuvenate in this workshop with Jolanda. Does playfulness oppose body awareness or do they complement each other?
With the use of the small barrels, a soft ball and roller, you will explore the fascial continuities and fascial movement variables and FEEL and experience the difference in your spine.

Delivering Movement Potential with THE OPTINECK BALANCE WEDGE® : Amy Cox (Morning)

After sharing a brief introduction from Michael O’Reilly, inventor of the Optineck Balance Wedge®, we will visit the diversity of the Balance Wedge as a tool that can: deliver feedback, create release, build skill and reflect on your own movement potential in Pilates practice.

Bridging styles, Building Athletes using Arcs and SPINEFITTER®: Helen Stamatakos (Afternoon)

The barrels, arcs, and spine correctors are a special breed within the Pilates landscape. Without springs (except at the BASI barrels!), their main focus is torso mobility and strength. These beautifully shaped tools create a closed circuit for the spine while offering open chains for the limbs. This workshop introduces small upper thoracic movements—from flexion to extension—building trust and confidence before progressing to more challenging full back extensions. The focus is on developing both mobility and strength, while providing time to understand the detail of the work. Expect practical cueing, both verbal and tactile, to help access the spine’s full range of motion.

Mastering Upper Thoracic Movement: Building confidence in spinal motion, using barrels, arcs and spine correctors : Leila Kester (Afternoon)

Exploring  closed chain for the spine and open chain for the limbs, exploring upper thoracic movements from flexion to extension and helping clients gain trust in their abilities - building confidence to move the spine.
